I used to love you, Baciami. Your out of the way location, your mobbed up clientele, your waitresses with Brooklyn accents...you were almost charming in a way. But let's remember that I come to you to eat, and the food you offer is no longer worth the trip. When I order the baked ravioli, I expect to actually be able to see it -- but seeing how it was blanketed in what was easily 2-inch thick cheese, i couldn't...it was a plate of goo. I am usually in the "can't get enough" category of cheese lovers but come on...what are you hiding under there? Oh that's right...the lack of flavor. I'll miss you but I need to move on.

I liked the circle street area that its located on, since it seems to keep this place hidden from outsiders. Inside was dark but, not uninviting. The bar area seemed to be populated by locals while the dining area was completely deserted. I ordered a small margherita style thin crust for $9.50. I was a tad bit uncomfortable using their bathrooms since there wasn't on the door signifying Mens or Women and I had an unpleasant feeling that I would be in the wrong one. Pizza wasn't bad. Tomatoes were in diced fashion. The olive oil had a lot of flavor, which made it overall taste pretty good.

ordered a stuffed pizza from here the other night. We had a sausage and ricotta stuffed pizza. Baciami stuffed pizza is just as good cold as it is when it comes fresh out of the oven. We'll order from here again, but may not dine in as of yet.

Went here for a rehearsal dinner. Everything went great. They handled the group well, the food and service were excellent. If I lived in the area I would be back.

I've enjoyed coming to Baciami's quite a few times over the years.Food never disappoints. Its one of the few places that I can find my favorite Italian soup, escarole and beans.Portions are pretty good.I've only ever had one WTF moment in all the times I've been here.I asked for a glass of wine THIS ONE TIME and was given a plastic cup to drink it out of.REALLY?!!!?

This place is great. My boyfriend & I found it by chance in the circle & decided to give it a try. When ever we walk in it's usually been that odd hour between lunch and dinner. So, I haven't seen many people in the actual dining area but that didn't turn us away & neither should you! We often get the calamari because it's nice and crisp. The pizza's good & stacked generously with toppings. My favorite item is their fresh made to order calzones. The only suggestion I have is to add more tomato sauce on the side. They do start you off with a bread basket that isn't amazing but very much welcome when you're hungry. No complaints on the service but the decor inside could use an update. Thanks Baciami!

The portions were pretty pricey for what I got. Left with a $40 bill for fiancé and myself and we didn't even order alcohol and weren't really full afterwards. Mediocre food at best, small portion-not what I was expecting from a Italian restaurant.

Stumbled upon this place a while back, because it was the only thing opened at 10 PM on a weekday. I have been back several times since and have not had a bad meal here. I'm not quite sure how to categorize this place- restaurant slash bar slash dining hall. Either way, they have excellent food and a full bar. Service is great, as well and prices reasonable for the area.

We had a graduation party at Baciami and it turned out to be the best. The atmosphere was great, food was awesome and the service was at 100% . Everyone complimented on how great the food and the service was. We will definitely continue having our parties there, it couldn't have been better. One enjoyable day. Thank you Baciami, Great job!!!

After reading some great reviews here I was expecting to be blown away but that was hardly the case. Came in for a family birthday dinner on a Monday night. We waited quite a while for our appetizers. We ordered the baked clams and calamari both which were ok the portion of calamari was very skimpy compared to what we're used to getting at an Italian restaurant. As for the clams my first thought was would you like some clams with those bread crumbs??? kinda bland needed a lot of lemon and hot sauce to give it any flavor. Asking our waitress for recommendations and items on the menu was worthless since she told us she doesn't eat meat, so obviously couldnt "sell" us on any of the meat dishes we were asking about. Also during our wait we also didnt get any bread. Our waitress came over after appetizers to see if we wanted bread as if it were an afterthought. we got our bread just before our meals came. As for the meals, 2 of the 4 of us liked what we ordered. I had the Chicken della casa which I will say was very flavorful. Those meals almost redeemed our experience there...almost. The service is key, there's a problem when your wait staff doesn't know your menu and doesn't seem enthusiastic to sell you anything. I had also asked if they carried any hard cider. Our server was reluctant to go check for me and just kept saying I dont think so. So I just ordered a diet coke instead of running up the bill with more alcohol. fail.

Recently went to Baciami with a large group for a 30yr reunion. Spoke with the owner, Rich, who was very accommodating to our group. We had a few more people show up and often got a little loud laughing with old stories, yet, never a complaint from anyone. The waitresses were amazing and kept the drinks flowing and the appetizers and food coming. I only gave four stars because my husband and I only ordered appetizers ourselves, so I can't speak for the dinners. We ordered the fried calamari, the buffalo calamari and the fried ravioli's. All were more than adequate portions. The calamari was tender, crisp and light with good dipping marinara. The fried ravioli were amazing. I'd definitely go there alone with my husband to try out the dinners. And the entire St. Priscilla Class of 1983 thank you Rich for giving us a place to share wonderful memories from 30 years ago!

Wow what a disappointment. Eating here for early dinner, the white trash bartender is relaxing dropping "F" bombs being constantly told by the "regulars" there are customers here. Our waitress is an idiot who isn't even old enough to serve our alcohol. First and last time here. Oh and the vodka sauce tastes like spaghettio's.

We found this restaurant on Restaurant's and eat here regularly. The food is fantastic and the waitstaff exceptional. They have an outside eating area and welcome our dog to dine with us and provide her water when we eat outside. The risotto specials and fillet au poivre are our favorites. With the discount this restaurant is a really great deal. A definite neighborhood gem.

I've lived in Elmwood Park for three years now and have gained 20 pounds due to all the great food in this area, and this place is no exception to the rule. I just ate here for the first time tonight and was pleasantly surprised by both the service and the food. The three of us split 9 buffalo wings for an appetizer; they were outstanding, very spicy and tangy. I had chile too, it was mild but tasty. I had Chicken Renato which is basically pasta, red sauce, chicken chunks, and mozz all mixed up in a wonderful goo. It was a tad bland but very high quality, and the portion was immense. It will be my breakfast tomorrow too. The other guys in my party enjoyed their dishes as well - we will be back. The best part is the atmosphere.. very old school Elmwood Park-y, Palumbo trucks on the bar and a bunch of old Italian guys playing cards at a big table. I ate my food listening to chips jingle and watching the Hawks game on one of the several flatscreens. It's open til 11 too!

I called to inquire having a private party and the guy who answered the phone ( Mike ) rudely asked why I was calling without hesitation, then said he wasn't interested in speaking to me and hung up. Way to treat a potential customer Mike, stay away from this place.
